Yang WU Associate Professor

Dr. Yang Wu is Associate Professor in School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation, Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen). Dr. Wu received a bachelor's degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Zhejiang University in 2012 and received a Ph.D. from the National University of Singapore in 2016. He served as a postdoctoral fellow at the Pennsylvania State University in the United States from 2017 to 2019. He joined Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen) in January 2020. His research focuses on biofabrication and 3D printing. He has been elected into Shenzhen Overseas High-level Talents Program. He has published more than 30 research articles, 1 book and 4 book chapters. He has also granted 2 Chinese patent and 1 US patent. His research work has been reported by several scientific and technological media such as ISE Magazine. He now serves as an associate editor of the journal Bio-Design and Manufacturing and an editorial board member of the journal BMC Biomedical Engineering. He also serves as a reviewer for several renowned journals in his research field.
